Last week, the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University welcomed its incoming class of 2023. The orientation week culminated with the traditional white coat ceremony which is a tradition entering students and their families enjoy tremendously.
As part of the Alumni of the Year and Medallion of Honor, I was asked to provide the welcoming speech to this remarkable group of students who have the highest average MCAT scores and college grade point average ever for an incoming class. This class enrollment is full and there was a wait list at the time of the ceremony.

After meeting many students of the Class of 2023 and other students, I am very excited to say that the future of our profession is in great hands. I was able to interact with many very thoughtful and committed students who are excited about the profession and know the hard work and dedication necessary to be successful.
